Fidelio is pleased to announce that Simon Irwin has joined Fidelio Partners as a Advisory Partner to further expand Fidelio’s Search, Evaluation and Development offering to Boards.
For over 35 years, Simon has worked as a sell-side analyst across a variety of markets and sectors. Since 2000 he has led a number of highly rated teams covering European Retail, Online and Sporting Goods at Exane, JP Morgan, Liberum Capital and, for the last decade, at Credit Suisse. Simon brings extensive consulting and investor relations experience to the consumer goods sector, in particular, retailers, distributors and sporting goods brands across the UK and Europe.
On his appointment, Simon commented, “I am delighted to be joining Fidelio Partners, with its innovative approach to building high performing Boards and to contribute to developing its corporate research and understanding of value.”

Simon Irwin - Biography
Simon started his career in the City in 1985 working as an oil analyst for Sheppards and Kleinwort Benson. He worked in Hong Kong from 1993 to 2000 as Regional Head of Research for Asia Equity/Paribas Asia Equity. Since his return to London, he has headed up highly rated research teams at BNP Paribas, Exane, JP Morgan, Liberum Capital and Credit Suisse, covering General Retail, Online, and Sporting Goods, as well as supervising teams covering Luxury Goods and Food Retail.
His work combines a deep understanding of industry themes, combined with a thorough bottom-up analysis of financials as well as company management teams and culture. He has also worked on dozens of IPOs and capital raises, and works closely with fund managers, buyside analysts and the broader investment community.
