Fidelio is very pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Cooper, former FTSE 100 Chief People Officer, as Partner. Heather brings rich first-hand experience of the People Agenda to Fidelio's highly-regarded Board Evaluation and Search practice.
Heather is a former CPO at Hargreaves Lansdown, the FTSE 100 Financial Services company. In this capacity, she chaired the Reward Governance Committee and Tech Committee.
Heather is also currently an Executive Coach, specialising in developing high-performance leadership teams, and has been Chair of Business in the Community South West Leadership Board.

NOTES TO EDITORS Heather Cooper - Biography Heather joins Fidelio Partners following a career spanning 30 years of Human Capital consulting, Board Evaluation and Senior Executive roles. Much of her consulting experience has been gained in Financial Services, Asset Management and in Professional Services firms operating across the UK and Europe. Heather has also held senior roles for Marks & Spencer and Deloitte. Her most recent executive position was as Chief People Officer at the FTSE 100 FS business Hargreaves Lansdown where in addition to the broad people agenda she held a number of governance roles. Heather has chaired Business in the Community - South West Board, leading business leaders in the creation of a strategy and action plan tackling inequality, D&I and climate change across the region. She has been a Board member of West of England Combined Authority helping to shape the post lockdown industrial strategy. Recently she has been conducting Board Effectiveness Reviews and supporting the ongoing development of Boards and Executive Teams through the delivery of programmes and Executive Coaching. Heather brings a thorough understanding of the governance and oversight requirements of Boards and the role of Board members in different environments including FTSE 100, Professional Services, Local Government and Not for Profit. She has deep expertise across the People, Talent, Reward and Culture agendas. Heather is a Freeman of the Guild of Human Resource Professionals.
